I got my first camera from my grandma, the first ally who recognized the artist in me (bless your eyes, gran!)
Beside photography, I’d say that music would be my other drug. In my turbulent punk youth era, I started taking pictures of all kinds of bands, which BTW I still enjoy doing up til today. Some things just don’t change, am I right?
I’m also all about exploring the depths of human souls and people’s fates. I mean, through portraits, not the voodoo thingy, GEEZ.
Another deep passion-obsession I admit to have, your honour, is travel photography. I mean, look at all the cultures, cool buildings, colors and atmospheres of various places around us? Who could resist? Not me.
Few years ago, I figured - why not learn from the best Hungarian photojournalists? So I signed up and completed a photoreporter course at MUOSZ Bálint György School of Journalism. And guess what! Spoiler alert: there I indeed learnt a lot from them. True story. Also learnt some artsy stuff at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest at photography course.
In a nutshell, I’m self-taught and self-made, staying hip and young at heart and spirit. Behind the scenes, I’m also in the honorable business of raising the next generation of upright future citizens (2 highly rebellious pieces at once!), which answers why I don’t have more time for photography. (If you kids are reading this, momma loves you, and also, what the hell are you doing up so late on a school day?!)
